I can't blog, but I can knit!!!!!

I, myself, am having trouble learning to blog (although I love reading all of those wonderful knitting blogs out there!)...but I can knit...as well as teach friends and family (and anyone standing next to me) to knit. Observe the beginnings of my daughter's very first sweater. After watching her knit scarves for the past two years I am pushing her out of the scarf-knitting nest and encouraging her to spread her artistic "needles." So far, so fantastic...I am a proud mother. I will update you on her progress.

As an aside - we also attended two knitting nights this week, one at a local yarn shop and one at the historic local library. Comical incidents occurred both evenings, but that's for another blog.
