today is a big day
paul will have to
share his favorite
books , toys, and
parents with baby
jack
we are all so excited
there will be little knitting
and less blogging
while we help with
the start of the new family adventure

We ask Paul, "Paul, what does a lion say?"
Paul says, "rooooooaaar"
We ask, Paul, what does a horse say?"
Paul says, "neeeeiiiiighhh"
We ask, "Paul, what does a piggy say?"
Paul actually makes a snorting sound.
We ask, "Paul what does a gorilla say?"
Paul says, "A Golilla says 'aaaahhh'" as he pounds on his chest with both hands.
Then Aunt Kathryn says, "Paul what will baby Jack say?" Paul repeats the question back to Aunt Kathryn (what he sometimes does when he doesn't know the answer."
Aunt Kathryn says, "Baby Jack will say, 'waaaa, waaaa, waaaaa'. Baby Jack will cry."
All day today we say, "Paul, what will Baby Jack say?"
Paul scrunches up his face, pokes his bottom lip out and says, "waaa waaa waaa.....he cwies."
So cute. We all laugh....and five minutes later, when we ask him again and like a good little soul uplifter, he repeats it...'waa' for 'waa."
We love you P.R....you'll always be our first baby buttrey!
But we welcome Jack Ryan Buttrey who we can't wait to get to know.
